Overall good place to stay a couple of days, and value for money ok.

Good value for money considering the extreme price level for Singapore. A bit outside the city center 4KM, but busses just outside the door for around 1SGD. Also a local food market just a few minutes walk away. Same with fitness center, coffee place and money exchange.

You can find other hotel81’s closer to citycenter e.i. Chinatown etc. The shower in room 04-02 was only warm for a few minutes, you expect that to work with the price of 60€/night.

An overall Ok experience

The property was one of the cheapest we found when booking our stay to Singapore and expected higher prices in general. In hindsight booking in advance would give you more options for better hotels for similar costs. The room was clean and relatively quiet at night. The shower had hot water and the wifi was good. The staff were also friendly.

The mattress was made out of plastic/ faux leather material and was awful to sleep on. The bed sheet slid off and the “duvet” was a blanket wrapped in a bed sheet.

restless stay

good for sudden short stay in short of vacancies in the price range.

too noisy out the walk way, echo speech of talking noise from outside/ next door is high . housekeeping staff talk loud while they work very early in the morning. I could sleep since 4am bc of noises
